What does Duncan say about being deceived by Cawdor? Can this be true today?

Duncan says that he had trusted the thane of Cawdor but was deceived,
There's no art. To find the mind's construction in the face. He was a gentleman on whom I built. An absolute trust.
This is true today as well. We cannot always tell what a person is rthinking.
