What lines do the characters say about the witches and why?

There are quite a few lines about the witches. I'll give you a few but there are more. All of them are Banquo who is far more suspect of the witches than Macbeth is.

BANQUO That look not like the inhabitants o' the earth, And yet are on't? Live you? or are you aught That man may question? […] You should be women, And yet your beards forbid me to interpret That you are so. (Act 1 sc.3)

These witches look like strange old men. The audience should be suitably afraid!

BANQUO Were such things here as we do speak about? Or have we eaten on the insane root That takes the reason prisoner? (Act one scene 3)

Banquo wonders if they saw the supernatural or were they munching on some trippy drugs.

BANQUO The instruments of darkness tell us truths,. Win us with honest trifles, to betray 's. In deepest consequence.(Act 1 sc 3)

Banquo knows no good can come out of anything these hags say, even if it sounds good.
