The boys are on watch with the signal fire. Unfortunately, the two (twins) do everything together and are unable to work independently of each other. Thus, while one was supposed to watch while the other slept, the two stayed awake together and went to sleep at the same time. They were a definite team but had no comprehension of how teamwork should be utilized in this circumstance.
