Question for Chapter 9...
What is meant by Simon saying "What else is there to do?" to the Lord of the Flies?

Simon is referring to the beast. The rest of the boys are afraid to climb the mountain for fear of the beast. Although Simon doesn't believe in the beast in the same context, he still knows the only thing they can do is face their fears.
