jack and the new group

Basically Jack wants power. Ralph's democracy was never good enough for Jack. Although he was given the hunters, Jack still had to contend with the conch and the shelters and the signal fire......Jack's own group allowed him to strip Ralph of power. It allowed Jack to set himself up as a king. He was able to maintain complete control through violence and intimidation.
