Lord of the Flies

At the end of the novel, Ralph weeps for “the darkness of man’s heart” (202). Look closely at Ralph’s character and behavior to answer the following question. Is darkness a part of what it means to be human?

Can you please help me get some ideas? I am a bit confused as to what I should do for the 3 paragraphs, so can you give me 3 examples that show that Ralph and 2 other people have darkness in them. Thank you!!!!!!
