What do you make of Pi's assertion that are all "in limbo,without religion,until some figure introduces us to god"?Do you believe that Pi's piousness was a response to his father astheism?

Pi was always a boy with a metaphysical bent. I think he searched religion because it is in his nature rather than his father simply being an athiest.
