In King Lear by William Shakespeare, injustices are frequently inflicted upon Edmund. The big idea of devine justice is that good always triumphs evil.Edmund, however, rejects this which ultimately leads to acts of injustice on his part. Most characters, excluding Cornwall, Goneril, and Regan, who do bad things suffer devine justice in some way becoming better people by suffering through their punishments.
