In this scene we are given the ingredients for the perfect storm. The masses cry caesar's name and Caesar feels almost intoxicated with his role as undisputed leader of Rome. Caesar ignores the Soothsayer's advice and we sense the peril in the air. Cassius offers a very compelling argument for Caesar's fall to an already conflicted Brutus. The stars are aligning for Caesar's fall.
