There is a lot top this question. Each man appeals to certain aspects of the Roman psyche. While Antony appeals to emotions: Brutus, a more introspective philosopher, appeals to logic. Brutus uses classic rhetoric top appeal to whatever sense of reason the masses might hold. Antony uses populist rhetoric to feed the emotions of the masses.
