Why Henry fielding copy Pamela novel? Or show females as negative character?

Fielding had no appreciation for Richardson's work and did not like (hated) the novel, Pamela. Thus, he decided to parody (make fun of the novel) in not one.... but two books; Shamela and Joseph Andrews.
