Joseph, himself, has a strong sense of morality, but I would choose Mr. Adams as the best example. Adams is a cultivator.... he takes Joseph under his wing and supports Joseph's desire to marry Fanny. Most of all, Adams is someone I'd like to know. He's easy-going and easy to get along with, and although, he occasionally suffers from moments of vanity..... he is no hypocrite.
