What sterotype does the Sambo bank represent?

Although there is a Sambo puppet (doll) in the text, I do not see a "bank" noted in the text. Sambo, the doll, is created in the image of a slave, and as a puppet, it represents the negative stereotype of a black dancer or singer that entertains whites.
