What does Chris do that he writes is one of the most tragic moments of his life? why do you think he feels this way?

INTO THE WILD

I think it was killing the moose because then it grew ma gets and went bad, also the bugs were like eating it.

Chris does feel incredibly guilty for spoiling the meat of his Moose. He thought leaving it to rot was a horrible thing to do to the moose. I'm not sure if he says it was the most tragic thing though.
