It is difficult to impose my own opinion onto another person. Certainly Chris takes his father's philandering hard. Chris internalizes his father's betrayal which taints his perspective on the world. The one thing I might advise Chris is that he should have talked more with his family about how he felt instead of disowning them to go on his journey.
