What if the book had ended with McCandless's death (i.e., moved chronologically)? Argue for an organizing strategy (either Krakauer's strategy or another one).

I really can't argue for a linear narrative because I don't think it would have been as effective as his circular narrative. A linear narrative might be easier to understand for weaker readers but that is about it.
