Man vs nature: Christopher McCandless wanted to follow his famous writer mentors like Emerson and Thoreau to become one with nature. He romanticized communing with the elements and finding his soul amongst the wild Alaskan terrain. Unfortunately Chris's experience in Alaska lacked these romantic elements. Nature turned out to be harsh and unforgiving. Chris would struggle to eat and survive. Chris, grossly inexperienced in survival, would eventually succumb to the realities of the natural world.

You need to submit your other conflicts one at a time. Thanks.
