On Days 2 and 3, students can use the internet to plot McCandless' journey on a map and find images from places on his trip. On Day 3, they can use the internet to find newspaper articles from the time of McCandless' death and locate passages from McCandless' literary heroes. During the activity "Considering Krakauer" on day 4, students may use the internet to investigate Krakauer's background. During the activity "How did McCandless die? A debate" on day 6, students can use the internet to research theories about how McCandless died.
