The Iron Nun or Iron Sister is a cage in the basement of school where they lock children that "misbehave" in. It was meant to break their spirit and crush their soul. The children of course are terrified by it. Psychological effects, especially for children are filled with life altering trauma:

-paranoia

-night terror dreams

-insomnia

-personality disorder

Children are more prone to all of these because their brains are still developing.
