The boys are surrounded by adult men in a restaurant. Each of the moose are taken in the alley, beaten and then urinated on. The men wanted to humiliate them for being better than the white team. The Moose climb back into their van and are silent. They are truly traumatized. I think the humiliation that these men inflict on these boys is worse than any beating they could have had. These boys will be emotionally scarred forever.
