How is the arena different from what Saul and his team are used to? In what does it lack?

When they play chiefs

The arena they played at had shining ice and freshly painted lines. It had high pexi-glass walls around the rink. The change rooms were warm and had a space for each player to change. Although it was modern and nice, it lacked the romanticism of the frozen ponds and light bulbs of the native league. It lacked the intimacy of the change cabins with their wood stoves for heating.
