Saul feels a new sense of home and purpose in the shack. Here, Saul feels that he is a part of something special: something magical. Everybody is supportive, even the opposing team. The community gets behind both teams and although the play is passionate and rough, there is a bonding that happens between all involved. Saul feels accepted and at peace under a blanket of stars playing hockey with his people on the cold winter nights.
