what is the organization Capote uses in part one

This question is a little vague, but maybe this will help. In part one Capote juxtapositions an ordinary day on the life of the Clutters with the preparations of Dick and Perry for the robbery and murder. He is able to build suspense this way since the Clutters are unaware that this is there last day. Capote intentionally parallels events in this section to start generating sympathy for the killers by showing subtle similarities between the killers and the Clutters.
