A tragic hero has a flaw in his or her character that brings about their own, and often other characters, demise. A tragic hero makes a judgment error that leads to calamity. In Prometheus's case, his excessive pride and stubbornness brings about his demise. There are many differences between tragedy and epic poetry. The tragedy is much shorter and compact than epic poetry. There are no fixed time limits in epic poetry where as in tragic poetry we can follow a timeline. There is more you can check out below:
