what does Marguerite learn from Mrs.Flowers?

She encourages Marguerite to come out of her shell and begin to speak again, even though she is hiding the rape she has experienced.  Mrs. Flowers is an aristocrat and loves reading and literature of all types.  She encourages Marguerite to see the world very differently.
