The Taliban's takeover completely goes against everything Jinnah preached. Not only do the Taliban persecute and kill non-Muslims, but they also torment Muslims who do not adhere to their own very specific, exceedingly brutal fundamentalist parameters. Pakistan has gone from an ideal of tolerance to an ideal of terror in less than a century. Malala says that religious fanaticism has misguided the population.
