Do you agree or disagree about the fact that Maria's parents were right to be wary of David being in their home?

As a parent, I think that most parents are wary of bringing another child into their home, particularly, a child about whom you have no knowledge. David's fear of talking about his past certainly added to their fears, but they did take him in... which speaks to their empathy and caring natures.
