Julian Dennison
Taika Waititi first met Julian Dennison while directing an advertisement for the New Zealand Transport Agency. The advertisement, which became a viral smash hit in New Zealand and Australia, starred Dennison as a kid who espouses the dangers of driving while under the influence of drugs.
Because of this experience, Dennison was cast in Hunt for the Wilderpeople without auditioning. His other films include Deadpool 2, The Christmas Chronicles 2, and Godzilla vs. Kong.
