In chapter 5, "Now, Where Have I Seen Him Before?", Foster uses the term"intertxtually". What does Foster mean by that?

Interextuality simply means the connection between all texts (especially works of literature) across history. Throughout the book, Foster wants the reader not to think of literary texts as existing in an isolated vacuum, rather having connections to particular cultural and religious traditions.
