7. Who is a better friend to the other, Sally or Esperanza? Why?

In my opinion, Esperanza is the better friend...... she does all she can to help Sally, but she is unable to do so. As a result, she thinks it better that she walks away. Sally puts herself in dangerous situations...... Esperanza chooses not to join her.
