Einstein is speaking to the existence of God, He did not, however, believe in a personal God, in prayers, or the answering of prayers, but rather, he did believe in a higher power and intelligent design. This topic is highly debated.

As for the rest of your post... it calls for your opinion. There is no right or wrong answer.
