Henry Wadsworth Longfellow: Poems

old book

I have an original Longfellow book copyright 1848. Someone wrote a birthday wish in the book. It's not in the best condition, and I was hoping to possibly sell it. I am presently unemployed because of a recent downsizing at my job.

Any ideas?

you need to find a good rare book appraiser or collector's club to get a true value. Collectors often value those little inscriptions, whereas dealers may offer you less because of them. There are a variety of places listed online, but I'd stay away from anyone without an already established reputation.
