Which of the worlds ills could be healed, which wrongs could be made right, if religion were more of a unifying force?

Albon notes a number of things that would change if religion became a unifying force. Unification would provide a sense of community, a sense of caring for each other. Within this sense of community certain conditions improve, namely quality of life, and a sense of extended family. Mitch uses his home town as an example..... specifically, citing the way that strong spiritual leadership and faith is conducive to doing the right thing.

Faith inspired programs also address homelessness, second chances, and most of all emotional, spiritual support for those who've chosen the wrong path in life..... the importance of support in the area of addiction.... of not giving up on an individual whose faith in themselves falters, because others are there waiting to help hold them up.
