Prejudice occurs throughout this series. Harry's aunt and uncle are prejudiced against wizards and witches. Magical people consider non-magical people or "Muggles" as being a little lower than them. Centaurs do not like humans. Hagrid mentions Dumbledore is not prejudice against giants. Draco has prejudice against muggles and even other wizards. A sense of prejudice in the magical world mirrors the "real" world.
