Hamlet

What is it for each? Which predicament seems more difficult to face and solve?

Act 3, Scene 2

Both Hamlet and Claudius are in a bind, moral and ethical dilemma.

I don't know if act 3 sc 2 is the best example for this question. I would think Act three sc 3 would be better. Hamlet has a chance to kill Claudius while he prays alone. Hamlet wants to avenge his father but does not want to kill Claudius while he prays: that would send Claudius to Heaven. Claudius wants to repent his sins yet retain the things (queen, crown) that he has sinned for.
