Is there anything unreliable or troubling in the ghost's story?

This questions is from Act 1, Scene 4. It is when Hamlet goes with Horatio and Marcellus to see the King's ghost for himself.

Hamlet concedes the ghost "looks" like his father, but he's not really sure.....

the ghost beckons him in this scene, but it does not tell him a story.
