Describe Hamlet’s personality when he is with Horatio.

Hamlet often becomes more introspective and objective when he is with Horatio. He seems to temper his animated ideas as well as his mood swings. Consider when Hamlet is about to fight Laertes in Act 5. Horatio asks Hamlet if he should stop the fencing match and Hamlet becomes reflective about life and death,
