what reasons does the queen have for: 

a) thinking hamlets insane?
b) thinking he is sane?

The talk they have alludes to Hamlet's intact sanity, but when the ghost of his father appears in the middle of their conversation, she believes he (Hamlet) is talking to thin air, which confirms her suspicions of madness.
