what could hamlet have done instead of taking the law into his own hands? why might this be a problem?

Hamet could have brought his knowledge to the advisors in the realm and exposed Claudius, rather than taking matters into his own hands. This might be a problem because the need to would quickly arise for Hamelt to disappear.
