Guru is promoted to Sales Supervisor at Shell with a three-fold increase in his salary. Ironically Guru declines the promotion in order to go into business for himself.
Night Train
Sujata waits for the man she loves to show up and disappear on the night train with her. Ironically, he doesn't show up and she meets Guru for the first time.
Welcome Home
Guru comes home for the first time in years and gives his father a new watch. Ironically, his father returns the watch once he discovers he's rejected the promotion from Shell to start his own business.
Dowry
Guru insists on marrying his friend's sister and goes to meet with the father. Ironically, the girl he is set to marry is Sujata, whom he met on the train while she was trying to run away with another man.
