Lemuel Gulliver is the narrator and protagonist of the story.Gulliver is English. He is a son in a middle-class family from Nottinghamshire, England.He longs to be an explorer. He studies medicine and gets a job on a boat.

Gulliver is son of a small estate owner in Nottinghamshire. He was the third of five sons he studied at Emmanuel college in Cambridge.Later he joined as a shipwrecked and got as a prisoner in Lilliput.
