Lord Munodi is said to be the most sensible man in Laputa. His family is wealthy and important, but Munodi himself is hated and despised because he doesn't go along with the program as dictated by the King and his court. Because he is so old-fashioned and level headed, Munodi makes the perfect friend for Gulliver.
