The Emperor of Japan only interacts with Gulliver in one paragraph. He obviously respects the leaders of other countries because he accepts Gulliver's recommendation; he believed Gulliver to be a Christian because of his refusal to stomp on the crucifix, thus, we have to infer that he does not like Christians or their religion.
