Why doesn't Biddy like Orlick? Why doesn't Pip try to have Orlick dismissed?

Orlick is a gruff evil man that Joe employs around the forge. He seems to hate just about everybody, but has a crush on Biddy. Biddy finds him rude and offensive. I think Pip is too busy trying to be a "gentleman" to worry about Orlick.
