Pip promises that he will come back to his village and do something for everyone. What does he promise to do?

I think he intends to improve the "plight" of those he loves with money in indirect ways. In particular he wants to pull Joe out of the marshes and have him educated. Pip is being rather stuck up here assuming that others will benefit from his illusion of being a gentleman.
