I like "did the money enhance or corrupt pips life." This is a central theme in the story. What Pip thought would be so life improving, turns out to be the opposite. Life is like that for people even today; this theme doesn't change.

thesis: In Great Expectations. Pip is given a great sum of money from his benefactor, able Magwich to turn him into a gentleman with "great expectations". The money causes drastic changes in Pip's life and he is forever changed.Did the money from Magwich enhance or corrupt Pip's life?
