Describe Wemmick’s house & what does this tell you about his character?

From the text:

Wemmick’s house was a little wooden cottage in the midst of plots of garden, and the top of it was cut out and painted like a battery mounted with guns.

From this, we can infer that Wemmick has quite the imagination and is very different to the man we've seen in Mr. Jagger's office.
