What is the relationship between god and man in The Collar by George Herbert?

In the poem "collars" the priest was doubtfull of the existence of God.He was very much agrressive in the fourth stanza because he being a priest deprived of worldly pleasure.He finds himself bound in the "pettie thought". But in the end he accepts the existence of GOd.
