The return of Kira's father gives her much to consider. Kira blames the Guardians for her village's problems, as well as many murders. Kira comes to realize that leaving with her father will allow things in the village to remain the same or get worse. Confident that she can change things for the better, Kira decides to stay. As keeper of the robe, she can affect important changes in the village. She will continue to maintain contact with her father through Matt, and maybe someday, the two villages can unite and form a better society for all.
