What comments does Elizabeth make about her position in Swiss Society?

I've been flipping through Chapter 6 and I haven't been able to find the answer. I don't see anything in the letter Elizabeth wrote to Victor that incorporates "Swiss Society" and any sort of position.

In Chapter Six, Elizabeth makes reference to her bother's desire to enter the Swiss Military.

"He is desirous to be a true Swiss and to enter into foreign service, but we cannot part with him, at least until his elder brother return to us."

Elizabeth also shares tidbits of gossip (social) and stories of friends in her letter. Social staus is also touched on in relation to Justine, and the position she's taken in Eizabeth's household.
